hOOOO so glad to be done with this, it was really simple in concept, but holy cow Melia is super detailed so even the simple background was a lot to go with her. Took me daaaays of on and off work. (**spoilers for Xenoblade Chronicles ahead**) But yeah the story behind this was just a metaphor or something(?) that I came up with when in game, we got Fiora back and she and Shulk were p much getting together, and not only seeing myself in Melia, but also shipping Melia and Shulk, I was pretty sad about that. (Trying not to hold a grudge against Fiora hhh. Its hard though.) And like, Melia never got to express her feelings or whatever. I mean, Sharla didn't give her so much as a pat on the back even though when Melia was about to be left behind in Alcamoth, they had the quick conversation all like, "You know his feelings for you are gonna fade if you stay back, right?" so Sharla /knew/ but nah, no comfort for a broken heart, huh? I'm glad they're not just turning Melia into the jealous female though. She's very strong and I love that she's accepting it and moving on instead of trying to rip them apart or something. She's a lot stronger than I am. XD Perhaps this picture isn't 100% fitting with that being the case though. idk. I started it before I saw how she was taking it, though. (**End spoilers!**)
I've been putting out a good amount of pieces with emotion lately, I'm proud of that. I think I need to go back to my anime boy headshots and whatever though. I started watching Haikyuu!! and there are definitely a good amount of characters I wanna draw. I've also got some tumblr requests to do oAo;;; I'll do them next probably
